What we love about The London Acupuncture Clinic is that they’ve been a cornerstone in the community for over 20 years, offering so much more than just acupuncture.

Their range of treatments, including herbal medicine and Tui Na massage, really shows their commitment to comprehensive care.

We were especially impressed by their expertise in fertility support. They’ve helped with over 10,000 IVF cycles, which speaks volumes about their reputation for guiding couples on their parenthood journey.

But it’s not just about fertility. They tackle everything from chronic pain to mental health issues, all deeply rooted in traditional Chinese medicine.

Each practitioner here is thoroughly trained, tailoring treatments to address both symptoms and underlying causes, which is something we appreciate.

Yes, the first session here costs £90, but they lower the price for follow-ups to £80 per session.

Pros

  • 20 years of experience
  • Specialised fertility support
  • Comprehensive treatment options
  • Highly trained practitioners
  • Convenient online booking

Cons

  • Higher price point for first session

Eases the mind with detailed explanations during each session

“I was recommended by another friend who went here for treatment during IVF (both of us were successful on round 1) and can not recommend it more myself.  Daniel is very knowledgeable and would help put my mind at ease at every session by explaining in detail about the changes I was going through and help manage my expectations.  With so much going on with your hormones, the time can be very challenging but by having the extra support of the acupuncture not only physically knowing it was doing me good but mentally as well, I felt it really benefited me.  Even if it had not been successful I know I would have coped better.  Thank you to the Clinic and Daniel!”

“I’ve been a client of Eva’s for 3 years now and I cannot recommend her services enough. She is so knowledgeable about fertility and always takes time to listen to your individual circumstances and offer advice. She has been so helpful to me personally and has made a huge impact on my fertility journey. The London Acupuncture Clinic is a clean, calm and relaxing environment and I always look forward to my acupuncture sessions there.”

WE Clinic London caught our eye with their unique blend of traditional Chinese medicine and modern techniques. Chi Hong, the clinic’s founder, has over 20 years of experience and is known for her personalised approach to treatment.

What really caught our attention is their comprehensive fertility support program. They’ve designed an 8-week acupuncture and herbal tea regimen that prepares both women and men for IVF, and it’s clear they know their stuff.

We also liked their skincare offerings, which range from cosmetic acupuncture to Dermaroller™ treatments and micro-needling. These treatments aim to boost collagen and blood circulation.

Now, acupuncture rates here are a bit steep at £109 per session. However, they set themselves apart with a free first consultation, either in person or via video.

Plus, the convenience of online booking is a win in our books.

  • 20 years of experience

  • Diverse skincare treatments
  • Free first consultation

Acupuncture West London stood out to us for their blend of classical Chinese acupuncture and Five Element acupuncture, all expertly delivered by Ben Carrigan.

However, what we found refreshing was Ben’s holistic approach. He goes beyond just treating symptoms by also addressing the underlying causes, which makes his sessions feel genuinely personalised.

We were particularly impressed by his focus on chronic conditions, fertility issues, and stress-related disorders. Ben’s techniques are designed to meet your specific needs, whether you’re dealing with migraines, digestive troubles, or anxiety.

Alleviates pain from jaw clenching

“I’ve been seeing Ben for acupuncture over the past few months, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. I initially came in with a painful jaw from clenching at night, and Ben has been a game-changer for me. His treatments have not only alleviated that pain but have also helped with my anxiety, aching shoulders, and back. From the moment you walk in, Ben’s professionalism and genuine care are evident. He takes the time to listen and understand your concerns, tailoring each session to address your specific needs. His approach to healing is holistic and effective, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my overall well-being. If you’re struggling with pain, stress, or just want to enhance your general health, Ben is the acupuncturist to see. His expertise and compassionate care have made a tremendous difference in my life.”

Brings balance and overall well-being through acupuncture

“I have been an advocate for acupuncture for some 20 years. I use it for its  many health benefits but mainly to bring myself into balance. Ben Carrigan at Acupuncture West London has always delivered an excellent treatment based on what problems I have arrived with. He takes the time to listen and gives you the reassurance you need in order to feel relaxed and enjoy the treatment. He then lets the needles do the work! I can highly recommend Ben as an acupuncturist and thanks again for all those amazing treatments.”

Achieves great results through detailed guidance and wisdom

“Dr Lily and her team have been fantastic with my targeted treatments, which have included herbs, teas, diet changes, acupuncture, cupping, reflexology and lymphatic drainage all in combination to support my recovery. I’ve seen great results over the last few months and it’s been worth listening to their detailed guidance and wisdom. Dr Lily has been very caring and committed to my treatment plan. I’ve also had excellent massages from Kim, Aniela and the team. Dr Lily’s newly refurbished clinic in High Street Kensington is also very peaceful, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the team for health consultations and treatments.

Builds trust in the expertise of Chinese therapists

“Quite nice and pleasant time to spend with Gin Sen. Doctors are really experienced, staffs are enthusiastic and helpful. At the first time, i was really scare about the acupuncture, since i had heavy back pain and always under great pressure, but the acupuncture didn’t hurt at all, all you can feel its just like a hair touch on your skin, and it really release my pain after few sessions. It’s amazing! I’m also focusing on its slimming project now, acupuncture+slimming massage+herbal tea and pills, i lost 3kg in 1 week without any side effect felt. I do trust my Chinese therapist, they can really make me healthier and more beautiful! Thank you, Gin Sen Clinic.”

Blackheath Fertility Acupuncture Clinic stood out to us not only because of its 20 years of experience but also because of Charlotte Steed’s impressive background at the Zita West Clinic.

She brings a wealth of knowledge in advanced fertility techniques, making this clinic a strong choice for anyone on a fertility journey.

What we really appreciate here is the variety of treatments they offer, from fertility acupuncture for both men and women to specialised care for conditions like PCOS and endometriosis. While the prices range from £85 to £120 per session, we feel the quality of care justifies the cost.

The clinic’s setting is another highlight – it’s tucked away in a charming Victorian terrace house, complete with a tranquil garden that adds a touch of serenity to the whole experience.

We also liked how their blog is packed with useful information. And yes, booking online is straightforward, which is always a plus.

  • Specialised care
  • Serene environment
  • Informative blog
  • Easy online booking

Cons

  • Higher price range
  • A few reports of poor communication

Delivers a transformative experience

“I’m so pleased to have found Charlotte. After struggling with fertility for the last year, my fertility doctor recommended I consider acupuncture in addition to my treatments. Charlotte’s experience and background aligned perfectly. I truly believe that the addition of acupuncture to this process has helped alleviate stress and provide a calm sense of balance that I had been missing. My visits have become an integral part of my support system. Charlotte is knowledgeable, kind and flexible and I cannot recommend her enough.”

Creates a surprisingly relaxing first-time acupuncture experience

“I went to Charlotte because of pain in my Achilles that I wanted to try and ease before a race. It was my first time trying acupuncture but Charlotte put me at ease and made the process surprisingly relaxing. I really liked her holistic approach. As well as the acupuncture she showed me how to use acupressure to help with the pain and gave me guidance on nutrition and anti-inflammatory foods. The treatment room is beautifully tranquil and Charlotte is super knowledgeable and easy to talk to.”
