How much does a wellness spa service in London cost?

How we chose the best wellness spas in London

  • Affordable services – We looked into the affordable spas in London that won’t have you breaking your wallet. This includes checking the exclusive deals and services that will make you return to their facilities.

There is nothing more heavenly than a Thai massage after a stressful day, and I can confidently say that Opulence Thai Spa delivers just that.

Located in Central London, Opulence Thai Spa offers various services, from a quick thirty-minute foot massage to a full-body massage with hot stones, starting at £50.

What’s great about this spa is they really try to cater to our preferences. Before the session, I filled out a consultation form. The masseuse also made sure to check in throughout the massage to ensure the pressure level was just right.

The masseuse really worked deep into my knots. It was intense at times, but that helped keep my muscles more relaxed.

The studio, though, felt quite cramped. The lack of air ventilation also made it a bit stuffy.

It’s also a bit disappointing that they don’t have other amenities, unlike high-end spas in the city.

Pros

  • Expertise in their service
  • Affordable pricing
  • Easy booking
  • Can do walk-ins

Cons

  • Lacks other amenities
  • Small studio

Perfect for a couple to unwind.

“An amazing place. Very clean, polite and courteous and you will leave feeling a new person! I did not want mine and my partner’s treatment to end! Will definitely return!”

The reviews say it all!

“I was thinking of getting of a Thai message when I was in the area and picked this one based on the number of good reviews. It truly deserves such a high rating. From reception to massage services everything was perfect. Pam is such an experienced therapist and I feel like a new person after the visit. Will definitely be there again!”

Agua London Spa in Sea Containers Hotel is a spot I’d definitely call a hidden gem when it comes to wellness.

As soon as I entered the spa lounge, I was immediately impressed by the spacious waiting area. There’s a modern centerpiece that draws the eye and soft music playing in the background, setting the tone for a relaxing time.

I opted for a full-body massage and chose a lighter pressure, which turned out to be just right. The masseuse was skilled and attentive, using feather-light hands that really made me feel relaxed.

What I especially love about Agua London Spa is the extra touch of indulgence. They have a relaxation room where I could rest for free—something many wellness spas don’t offer.

Now, it’s worth mentioning that this level of luxury comes with a price tag. The starting price for their full body massage is £130, and that’s during off-peak days.

Pros

  • Accessible and clean amenities
  • Relaxing longue
  • Accommodating staff
  • Personalized massage

Cons

  • Expensive rates
  • Strictly by appointment only

Still the same but best experience

“Visited today after a long time (pre covid !!) and it was an excellent experience with the most relaxing massage from Tasha. She was so calming and kind, leaving me feeling well cared for and thankful.”

Made my birthday special

“Staff are lovely, ambience is soothing, and treatments are great. It was my first time at a spa and my birthday, and Marnie was my therapist; she excellently eased my concerns and catered the experience to what I needed. We had lovely conversation throughout helping me feel comfortable. Agua also gifted me macaroons and strawberries, so kind and going that extra mile. Will return again!”

S.Spa London is another hidden gem in London. As I looked into their services and treatments, I was immediately hooked on its affordable price.

For £70, I received a full-body Swedish massage, and I was impressed by the level of customisation. The masseuse adjusted the pressure exactly as requested, focusing on my pain points with deeper pressure. By the end of the session, I felt completely relaxed and satisfied.

I also found the infrared sauna option an absolute steal. For just an additional £15, you get to enjoy an extra hour of deep relaxation. I think it’s a great add-on if you want to extend your spa experience.

They weren’t joking about their ‘mini-spa day’ branding, though. Their facility is actually small, and there can be a bit of a wait. They’re usually fully booked too, so they may not be ideal if you’re someone who loves last-minute spa trips.

Pros

  • Affordable price
  • Discounted packages
  • Infrared sauna

Cons

  • Always fully booked
  • Small facility

Booked again after the session.

“Had a lovely mini-spa day in the sauna followed by a Swedish massage with Mollie who was great! It was so good I’ve already booked in to go back! Would highly recommend”

It’s my regular go-to spa

“S Spa is truly a tranquil and relaxing local gem! I came across the spa 3 months ago and have been a regular since. Great service, lovely staff and luxury products used- my daughter loves the spa too. I usually prefer massages over facials however I had an exceptional facial today with Amolyn which I will be rebooking monthly. Thank you S Spa for helping me invest in my wellbeing ✨💚”

4. PURE Spa and Beauty

Operating Hours:

  • 10 am – 7 pm

What I like most about PURE is its wide range of services. Aside from massages, they also have beauty treatments like waxing and nail services—but what really surprised me was that they even do ear piercings! It’s the perfect spa if you want a one-stop pampering session.

I chose a quick £35 massage, and within minutes, I felt completely relaxed. It was the perfect way to unwind before getting a mani-pedi from PURE’s nail technicians!

Another standout for me was the amenities that PURE offers. It has a pool and jacuzzi, which I think can be other great ways to unwind and relax. While the space isn’t huge, it’s just enough for a peaceful solo time.

Located inside the Lansbury Heritage Hotel, the hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved how welcoming their staff was.

The only problem I had was that their rooms weren’t soundproof, so some outside noise can sometimes disrupt the experience.

Pros

  • Easy to book
  • Offers package deals and discounts
  • Offers a wide selection of service
  • Free amenities

Cons

  • Expensive pricing
  • Non-soundproof rooms

Expert in their field!

“My facial with Pam was amazing! She addressed all my skin concerns and made me feel comfortable throughout the session. The facial was incredibly relaxing, and I’d highly recommend her to anyone, no matter their age. I’ll definitely be back soon!”

So relaxed that I almost slept.

“I had a 90 minute body and head massage that was absolutely amazing, I could have honestly drifted off to a pleasant nap, so relaxing and highly recommended”

5. Cloud Twelve

cloud-twelve

Location: 2-5 Colville Mews

Phone: +442033011012

Operating Hours:

  • Monday – closed
  • Tuesday – Saturday 09:00 am – 07:00 pm
  • Sunday – 09:00 am – 06:00 pm

Cloud Twelve stood out for being a wellness and lifestyle club that caters to families. It was really nice to see a space that caters to all ages, with facilities like interactive play zone and luxury salon.

But for me, it was all about the spa, so I headed straight to their day spa classic.

At £250 on an off-peak day, the price might seem steep, but I felt the value was there. The package included access to their spa facilities, such as the sauna and salt room–both of which I enjoyed after my massage.

The only downside I encountered was the few reports of double-booking issues. To avoid any potential scheduling mishaps, I’d recommend double-checking your schedule with their receptionist beforehand.

Pros

  • Inclusive wellness club
  • Great package deals
  • Wide range of services
  • Family-friendly

Cons

  • Expensive pricing
  • A few reports of double-booking

A hidden paradise!

“What a gorgeous and friendly spa! I had no idea this was hidden here down a street I walk past regularly, a piece of hidden heaven. The receptionist was so friendly, wearing a unicorn headband, and put me at ease immediately – I would usually be nervous in a swish new place but everything was down to earth, well designed, and just lovely. My treatment was heaven, I can’t wait to book again.”

Friendly and accommodating staff.

“Great treatment with Victoria. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything about the procedure and aftercare to reach my desired results. The reception staff were also very welcoming.”
